Access Staff are proud to represent an award winning Aluminium Foundry based in the Bridgnorth area.

Job Role:

Purchasing Administrator

Roll Responsibilities:

* Completing data entry of Navision orders

* Transferring manual requisitions by entering data onto the electronic Navision ordering system

* Accurately input data on supplier delivery performance

* All departmental filing

* Maintain and ensure the annual renewal of all Non-Disclosure Agreements with support of SQA.

* Assist in the stores when needed, including stock takes and serving at the counter,

* Assist with creating maintenance orders via the maintenance order portal

* Assist with consignment stock

* Co-ordinate issue and renewal of Company workwear in accordance with the Company Workwear policy and the commercial workwear contract held within purchasing and taking into account the employee's satisfactory completion of his/ her probationary period and signing of a Workwear Agreement as the trigger for workwear issue. Escalate any issues to the relevant manager.

* Order special clothing for employees and distribute clothing in a timely fashion, ensuring accurate records are maintained of orders and distribution.

* Assist with any on-site events as requested

* Maintain as strictly confidential any customer sensitive or employee sensitive information

Undertake any other duties of a similar nature consistent with the responsibilities of this post.

Competencies Required:

* Good communication skills, with the ability to confidently converse with both suppliers and internal members of the team

* Good organisational skills

* Recent administration experience

* A good team player

* Competence in Microsoft Office, in particular MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.

* Experience with online IT systems is desirable

* Administration experience in a purchasing team would be desirable for this role.

Experience of working with, and handling, confidential data.

Skills Required:

* Accuracy of orders input

* Accuracy of filing & completion in a timely fashion

* Annual refresh of Non-Disclosure Agreements

Accurate and timely issue of Company Workwear in accordance with Company policy and procedures.

Salary will depend upon experience.

Due to the Rural Nature of the facility, it is essential that candidates possess their own transport.

This is a permanent position.
