For the successful Hygiene Manager our client is offering:

i. 38k-40k per annum
ii. Permanent Position
iii. 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday

The role - Hygiene Manager:

i. The Hygiene Manager is responsible for creating and maintaining instructions, records and specifications, carrying out audits of site hygiene standards and CIP performance and investigating and implementing corrective action as necessary.
ii. Meticulous and driven, the Hygiene Manager is responsible for driving hygiene standards and change on site.
iii. Plan, prioritise and organise the work load of the Hygiene operatives.
iv. Ensure they are fully utilised and completing tasks accurately and on time.
v. Coach team members and support their individual development programmes.
vi. Ensure that safe standards of hygiene are maintained throughout the site and the cleanliness level achieved exceeds legislator, client and customer requirements.
vii. You will also conduct COSHH assessments, risk assessments, document safe systems of work for all hygiene tasks, investigate non-conformance's and ensure that corrective actions are taken and ensure that all hygiene audits relating to Health & Safety, GMP, HACCP and hygiene systems are carried out and issues followed up.

What our client is looking for in a Hygiene Manager:

i. The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role in the food industry together with experience of dealing with the major multiple retailers and implementation of their hygiene standards.
ii. Educated to HNC level or equivalent in a related subject i.e.Business Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Food Technology.
iii. Advanced Food Hygiene HACCP 4Health & Safety Awareness COSHH Level 3
iv. Minimum of 3 years previous experience (or equivalent demonstrable experience) in a Technical Management role working within a food manufacturing / Processing environment.
v. Excellent IT skills, proficient in Microsoft Office.
vi. Self-sufficient, with excellent planning and organisational skills
