Due to continued growth we are currently looking for a home-based Associate Director of Biostatistics to provide support and leadership to our established UK Biostatistics group.

Main responsibilities for the Associate Director of Biostatistics role include:

Managing the daily activities of the biostatistics staff to ensure everyone is well-trained on PRA standard processes and to promote efficiency, quality, and timeliness in project work.
Participating in proposal development for standalone, small programs and/or new drug applications (NDAs).
Representing biostatistics on operational committees for smaller FSP opportunities.
Responsible for staff career growth and development.
Monitoring staff projects quality, timelines and budgets to foresee and correct issues and assure project expectations are met.
Manages discretionary expenses within team (e.g. travel, training, memberships) to meet budget.
Manages resources within team: new hires, terminations, transfers, and contractors.
Participates in internal and client audits.

Master's degree in statistics, biostatistics, epidemiology or public health required.
Extensive experience of study leadership in biostatistics at a CRO or pharmaceutical company
Formal people management experience desired but not required.
Strong communication skills. Able to effectively represent PRA with internal clients and external clients.
