We are looking for an experienced Paraplanner with work experience in a small IFA practice. The role that we are recruiting for includes a wide range of wealth management responsibilities including Tax Planning and Asset Allocation.
Along with the experience of working as a Financial Planning Administrator/Paraplanner within a professional services company, (ideally 5 years in a small IFA practice) we also are looking for:
* Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel (both 2003 and 2010 versions) and Outlook
* Excellent numerical skills
* Excellent grammar, proofreading and letter writing experience
* Good verbal communication skills
* Professional telephone manner
* A commitment to ongoing learning and self-development
The successful candidate will ideally have a diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent) or will be studying towards obtaining the diploma.
Tasks will include, but are not restricted to the following:
* Tax Planning Calculations & returns
* Trust Planning
* Pension funding / lifetime allowance calculations
* Corporation Tax
* Asset Allocation
* Portfolio reviews
* Manage Client Meetings
* All Correspondence
* Responsibility for File Quality
* Maintain Client Relationships
* Client Reviews
