Our Client is a respected Consultancy and Managed Services provider based in Stafford, they are looking for a Telemarketing Executive to join their growing marketing department
The marketing department have been in place for 4 years and have grown significantly alongside the organisation. There is now a position available for a telemarketing executive to generate, qualify and pass leads to the sales team through telemarketing. Working on a variety of campaigns covering topics across the business and our partners, this role will require a strong sense of resilience and an appetite to learn new things. Full training will be provided for each campaign, and calls, leads generated and opportunities generated will be measured as a means to monitor performance.
* Researching contacts - through multiple channels including LinkedIn or our internal CRM system, the telemarketing executive will handle finding new contacts to approach during campaigns.
* Making calls - a large part of the job will be making calls to contacts to explain the offer, and look to book a follow-up meeting.
* Rating calls - each call made will require notes and a rating based on how the conversation went.
* Training - Each campaign will take a day of training around the offer and how to approach potential customers over the phone.
Competences and abilities:
* Ability to work under pressure and perform to targets
Qualifications and Experience:
* Experience in a telemarketing, telesales or sales role preferred but not essential as all training will be provided
* Experience of making calls in a sales or telemarketing environment
Personal attributes:
* Tenacity and drive to maintain volume of calls while remaining pleasant and committed to making a booking
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel preferred
* A good communicator
* Willingness to learn new subject areas and topics to facilitate an initial conversation with customers and prospects
* Adaptable to support with other tasks if required
* Can do attitude
* Team player
* Resilience to keep calling and deal with a high volume of contacts
* Interest to work in IT
* Understanding of the marketing to sales cycle and lead generation
* Willingness to develop a long term sales career
The position is Monday to Friday 9:00 - 15:30 with a 30 minute break although hours can be flexible if required
