Head of Partnership Fundraising - Birmingham - GBP48,500 - new and exclusive opportunity! Acorns Children's Hospice Trust, one of the UK's largest Children's Hospices, have the following opportunity:Role: Head of Partnership Fundraising.Reporting into: Director of Supporter Engagement.Areas Covered: Birmingham and other areas across the West Midlands.Salary: GBP48,500 plus yearly car allowance of GBP3,192.Hours of work: 5 days a week - 37 hours.Some parents face the challenge of knowing their child may not reach adulthood due to a life limiting or life-threatening condition. Acorns Children's Hospice Trust for over 30 years has provided specialist care and support to babies, children, young people and their families across the West Midlands and has developed three children's hospices over the years. As one of the UK's leading children's hospice, Acorns supported over 870 children and more than 1040 families in 2018.The Role: This is a newly created key appointment for Acorns Children's Hospice. As well as a service that is second to none you will have an opportunity to work with a passionate and exceptional team.Working with regional businesses, events organisations, Trustees, Patrons, Vice-Presidents, Directors, senior influencers, colleagues and groups and associations to generate innovative financial and non-financial partnerships and benefit the whole charity by directing wide ranging contributions to this unique cause.About You: We are looking for an ambitious, senior level fundraising professional to ensure that Acorns will be able to meet their ambitious future growth strategy to support more unmet need over the coming years. You will be results driven with a proven track record in corporate partnerships/business development as well as having a thorough understanding of fundraising streams including; Major Gifts, Trusts & Foundations and Corporate Fundraising. As part of the senior management team you will have exceptional management and leadership skills as well as a good network within the Birmingham and West Midlands region.Responsibilities: Act as the senior external point of contact with potential partners and deliver on agreed income targets.Formulate, lead, test and review a strategy for the partnership team.Develop an active and dynamic network or corporates, organisations and individuals who are engaged and bought in Acorns Children's Hospice.Identify and develop new business opportunities and well as nurture meaningful long-term partnerships with existing relationships.Undertake detailed research into each corporate prospect to understand their key drivers.Manage, lead, motivate your team to deliver exceptional results as well as providing a friendly and supportive working environment for them.Develop and implement the operations policies, processes and practices to support a first-class partnership function.Develop marketing plans and activities with the Marketing, Communications and PR teams.Support the fundraising team to achieve its financial target and national initiatives.Conduct regular budget reviews, KPI's against key milestones and income targets.Key Skills & Experience: Experience of new business development within the third sector.Strong management and leadership skills.Ability to win, manage and nurture long lasting relationships with high network individuals, businesses, organisations and groups.Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.High standard of numeracy skills and a competent user of MS Office packages.Experience of budget/forecast management.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Essential Requirements: Full UK Driving License and access to your own vehicle.A proven track record in developing successful commercial and strategic relationships within a fundraising environment.Proven experience of applying a range of corporate and partnership fundraising techniques.Excellent stakeholder management skills.Exceptional management and leadership skills.Thorough understanding of various fundraising streams.Need to be flexible as you will need to travel around your regions, sometimes work outside of standard working hours and be willing to travel to other regional offices.This is a fantastic opportunity not to be missed!To apply please send across an updated copy of your CV or call me on the below contact details to discuss further!Contact: Jerry Hayman Telephone Number: or Morgan Hunt is a multi award winning Employment Business for interim, contract and temporary recruitment and acts as an Employment Agency in relation to permanent vacancies.
