Provides guidance with respect to data protection policies and data privacy legislation.  Promotes and encourages a culture of data privacy across the Company.  Supports the business in completion of data protection impact assessments.  Recommends changes to internal policies and procedures.  Coordinates response to data subject rights requests (access, erasure etc).  Coordinates response to data breaches and incidents.  Coordinates response to International Data Protection Notifications (IDPN) entries.  Leads the creation and development of appropriate data protection training material.  Develops and maintains positive working relationships with internal/external parties and service providers where required.  Ensures compliance with policies in the area of responsibility.  Ensures all correspondence is treated in the strictest confidence.  Ensures the accuracy of all correspondence within agreed timelines.  Checks invoices for services and equipment in the area of responsibility following Company procedures.
