NDT Operator - Precision Aerospace Manufacturing - Derby

This role for an NDT Operator will be focused around carrying out independent non-destructive testing of products based around a solid understanding of drawings, work cards, specifications and other relevant technical documents. You will be writing NDT data cards / work instructions and then completing all internal and external documentation relevant to the inspection/ testing of product or process, e.g. Work card, inspection reports, First Article Inspection Reports, Non-conformance Reports etc.
You will be able to identify and document non-conforming product or process and then liaise with production personnel and supervision where required to feedback information relating to tested product. You will need to identify and communicate improvements to processes or procedures identified during the performance of testing activities and take an active involvement in Continuous Improvement activities related to Inspection activities.
The ideal candidate will be trained to a recognised national standard, National Aerospace NDT Board (NANDTB) level II in Fluorescent Penetrant testing and X-Ray inspection and have an excellent eye for accuracy and solid attention to detail.
