Telesales Coordinator



Our client, a nationally known compressed air management service provider, is recruiting for a Telesales Coordinator to join their busy, friendly office based in Burntwood.

You will need to possess a confident telephone manner as you will be presenting products and services to customers and dealing with any potential objections.

The successful Telesales Coordinator will have excellent customer service and telesales skills, objection handling experience, and an excellent history of working to and exceeding set monthly sales targets. If this sounds like something that fits your skillset then be sure to apply!

The successful Telesales Coordinators responsibilities will include:

  • To proactively chase outstanding sales proposals from each Internal Sales team, focusing on key customers, expired contracts, and urgent repairs
  • To liaise with various internal teams, and on a pro-rata basis as identified by Internal Sales Manager
  • To secure orders, contributing towards monthly and annual financial budgets for each team
  • To work towards and show improvements on team conversion rates for each department
  • To achieve daily and weekly outbound call volume targets
  • To source and verify leads using CRM, Microsoft and in-house systems
  • Maintain an effective working relationship with the management and staff of all sections throughout the company
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
  • To follow the company’s ISO procedures including filling or paper work relating to all orders and quotations
  • To identify and maximise opportunities for upselling
  • Able to work on own initiative, and liaising with various teams
  • To feedback, update and action on customer requirements as needed
  • To develop an organized and structured way of working, to maximize time
  • To ensure customer requirements are met through questioning
  • Increase / improve sales conversion rates in each revenue stream
  • To accurately update data bases in real time, with relevant details

The successful Telesales Coordinator must possess:

  • Have 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • GCSE qualifications (Grade C or above)
  • Rotating equipment experience, not essential but desirable
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • Compressed Air background, not essential but desirable
  • Knowledge of management systems for sales
  • Can demonstrate collaborative working to support other business functions i.e. Sales team
  • Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience in telesales / upselling
  • Ability to increase Sales conversions
  • Experience in objection handling
  • Able to use initiative and work closely with various members of the team
  • Ability to manage large workload
  • Can meet deadlines
  • Can demonstrate understanding of sales processes
