The Finance Manager will play an integral part of the Agriculture Function and will support the Finance Business Partner with monthly sign-off, quarterly control reviews and year end audits. The Finance Manager will be a key business partner to the General Manager - Mills and whilst based at the Tram Inn in Allensmore, will cover the Banbury Mill and the Westbury Mill, so some travel will be required.
Key responsibilities include:
• Weekly and monthly Management Reporting of Mills, driving the use of MTech to support this process
• Budgeting and forecast processes, working with the wider Agricultural Finance teams to deliver outputs in line with the Group S&OP requirements
• Focus on measurement of operational performance through standards and acting to challenge & improve
• Work with the General Manager - Mills in driving improvements and adding value
• Work with the Feed Purchasing Manager and Finance Business Partner - Chicken Agriculture to ensure feed forecasting models & live bird pricing forecasts correlate with Mills forecasts
• Provide rolling annualised views of total Feed and Inflationary risk, working with the FP&A Manager and Finance BPs to drive correct customer pricing requirements
• Manage internal and external feed pricing mechanisms and system management thereon
• Lead, manage and coach the departmental personnel to ensure they work to optimum performance levels and standards. Recruit, develop, appraise and motivate the team
What we are looking for:
• Newly qualified, ACA, CIMA, ACCA or QBE with experience of working within a FMCG Environment
• Has worked in an influencing role shaping business decisions with strong commercial awareness
• Understand management information required for a manufacturing environment
• Ability to comfortably converse with stakeholders at all levels
• Able to work in a matrix structure managing a team whilst delivering on group and site targets
• Comfortable with integrated ERP systems, systems design and implementation
• Strong Excel skills including advanced formulae, pivot tables and data analysis
