Red Rock Partnership are delighted to work in partnership with their prestigious Client in Cannock who, due to expansion, are looking to recruit an experienced Quality Systems Manager.

About the Role:

The Quality Systems Manager will be responsible for developing the Quality strategy, policies, processes, standards and systems for the Company and its supply chain to operate within.

Our Client is ISO9001 accreditation at two of their three sites. This role involves taking those systems through a complete review and developing one system for the Group, in order to achieve accreditation at all of the sites. You will develop and sustain the system, manage the audit program and embed a culture of continuous improvement across the Group.

Key Responsibilities:

* Strategy & Development of the Quality Management System to aid and improve operational performance

* Lead and develop the Quality Assurance Systems for the Group, leading to ISO9001 at all sites

* Ensure that all necessary systems and procedures are in place to satisfy all customer requirements and audits, and ensure the maintenance of all regulatory approvals

* Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance

* Act as a change agent to identify best practices to drive continuous quality improvements throughout the organisation

* Responsibility for implementing and executing of the internal / external audit programme to ensure all non-conformities are effectively corrected and independently verified

* Ensure all measuring equipment used by the Quality Department is calibrated and up to date whether validated internally or externally

* Support the operations team with the execution of APQP / PPAP activities ensuring compliance to customer and regulatory bodies requirements

* Manage site audits from customers and regulatory bodies for quality assurance

* Ensure that the norms for product and processes are correctly defined and documented for the business and are available at the appropriate control points for monitoring and recording purposes

* Block non-conforming materials and products at any stage in the supply chain to prevent delivery to customers

* Ensure that accurate and up-to-date drawings (where applicable) exist for finished products

* Liaise with customers on improvements and processes to ensure the flow of information is consistent and effective

* Trend and investigate supplier and customer complaints introducing successful improvement actions to reduce and to eliminate them

About You:

* Experienced at developing quality systems with proven ability to achieve and maintain accreditation

* Relevant manufacturing/engineering degree (or equivalent) is preferred

* Member of an industry related professional body would be advantageous

* Significant experience in a high volume manufacturing environment, preferably automotive

* A plastics injection background would be an advantage

* Qualified Lead and/or internal Auditor for ISO9001

* Lean manufacturing skills

* A team player with a conscientious attitude to work

* Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills

* Open to new ideas and technologies

* Commercially aware

* Focussed, target driven with a positive, can-do attitude

Our Client is rapidly expanding and for the right candidate this could be an excellent opportunity to develop and progress within the Company to a lead Group role.

Remuneration and Benefits:

You will be employed to work 42.5 hours per week Mon - Fri. A flexible approach to working additional hours, possibly on nights or weekends when required is preferred.
