Deputy Head Teacher - (SEN School)
On behalf of my client we are recruiting for a Deputy Head Teacher to join a school within the West Midlands area. As a Deputy Headteacher, you should be highly motivated and have a genuine interest in developing the education young people with complex needs and challenging behaviours. You should have experience in achieving high quality teaching across all disciplines, support learners so as to maximise achievement and deliver continuous improvement in the school.As the Deputy Headteacher, under the direction of the headteacher, you will take a major role in: Formulating the aims and objectives of the school. Establishing policies for achieving these aims and objectives. Managing staff and resources to that end. Monitoring progress towards the achievement of the school’s aims and objectivesIf the Headteacher is absent, the Deputy Headteacher will deputise, as directed by the governing body.You must have:-Successful SEN leadership and management experience in a schoolEvidence of working with Looked After ChildrenSignificant SEN teaching experienceInvolvement in school self-evaluation and development planningLine management experienceExperience of contributing to staff developmentCurriculum Planning ExperienceLeading on Internal Verification and AssessmentThis is a Full time position of 40 hours per week paying £35,000 per annum.
