Our client is the leading specialist in precision cooling equipment in the critical technologies sector.They help some of the largest names in the industry to deliver world leading efficiency, reliability and cost-effective cooling systems to allow data processing. As a trainee commissioning and service engineer you will train to install, commission, service and repair company products at customer premises, maintaining relationships with customers and salesmen. Reporting to the Project/Site Manager you will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation, maintenance and repair of cooling units. Travel, international work and regular absences from home are important part of the job. Key Responsibilities - Respond in a professional manner to all assigned service calls - Investigate diagnose and repair faults. Report any critical issues immediately to the Project/Site Manager. - Read, understand all and comply with all procedures within the Employee Handbook and site policy - Perform all works in a safe manner in line with the company H&S manual - Keep the Project/Site Manager informed on schedule of works and status of all open jobs - Ensure spare parts are accounted for and reported to the service manager (this should form part of site policy) - Paperwork and reports to be submitted in a timely manner following all company procedures (Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of work carried out to enable traceability) - Ensure the client is informed of the works carried out at their premises (Ensure professional and effective flow of information with clients and other team members) The above list is not exhaustive and you may be required to take on other duties and responsibilities for the effective and efficient performance of this role. Requirements - Organised approach to work - Self-motivated - Problem solving skills - Polite and professional - Good time keeping - The ability to work well under pressure - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Full Driving Licence and valid Passport Manufacturing Workforce are responsible for placing skilled and in demand people on both a permanent and contract basis into the Engineering, Technical and Manufacturing sectors, from skilled Shop Floor Personnel and Specialist Engineers to Supervisory and Management positions.
