REPORTS TO: Promotions Manager
LOCATION: Wolverhampton Area
HOURS:22.5 per week. Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 11.30 – 8pm

Job purposeDoor to door collection of the Wolves Lottery from members in the Wolverhampton area (no cold calling). The collected monies must be returned to Molineux in order that the members can be included in the weekly lottery draw. This role has weekly collection targets to meet and would suit a self-motivated individual who enjoys meeting people. The individual is expected to build good working relationships with their members and promote Wolves FC in the local area.
·Collect cash on a 4-weekly basis from circa 720 members in and around Wolverhampton
·To meet, if not exceed all collection targets each week, currently set at 90%
·To make every reasonable effort to ensure that the collections are kept secure at all times
·Ensure that all paperwork is filled out correctly and within timescales set
·All cash and the relevant paperwork are returned to the Lottery Office in a timely manner
·Compliance with Club policies
·Compliance with the Club’s health and safety procedures
·Compliance with the Club’s safeguarding policies
·To promote the Club’s values
·To work consistently to embed equality & diversity into the Club
·To undertake such other duties as may be reasonably expected
·To maintain professional conduct at all times
·This role involves working with children and/or vulnerable adults in a Regulated Activity (or in close proximity to children and/or vulnerable adults). This means that the post-holder is required to apply all relevant policies and uphold the Club’s commitment to safeguarding vulnerable people.
·Developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with the Lottery members in order to meet targets
·Office based Lottery Assistants to ensure the Lottery is as efficient and effective as possible
Scope of job
The Wolves Lottery Collections Agent will work in the Promotions team to make sure that as many people as possible are collected and therefore entered into the draw each week. The Agent will also be responsible for ensuring that each member has a results sheet for each visit. This is an outdoor, lone working role where the Collections Agent is expected to work in all weather conditions.
