Exciting opportunity to join a leading specialist training company based near Kenilworth as a Companion Animal Market Research Officer. This role is initially a 12 month FTC however if opportunities and income are identified, this role could become permanent after the 12 months.

In this new position as the Companion Animal Market Research Officer you will be researching the Companion Animal training and qualification market to provide a report identifying potential development opportunities and routes to the specific market.

Companion Animal Market Research Officer Main Responsibilities:
?? Undertake a full investigation of the Companion Animal market
?? Identify and engage with key stakeholders to understand the training needs of the market
?? Present to external stakeholders on the benefits of working with your company and creating a national standard
?? Commission surveys amongst existing company providers/instructors to understand delivery capability
?? Identify new delivery network for the Companion Animal sector, including providers, instructors and Verifiers
?? Create SWOT analysis for each market opportunity
?? Formulate a draft plan of actions and priorities for entering Companion Animal market with clear set of development opportunities
?? Create a project plan, define the scope, tools and methodologies to be used, set up a project schedule, manage data collectors and interviewers and prepare data collection templates
?? Prepare a report for Board with a full justification for entry into the Companion Animal market

Our client is looking for:
?? Demonstrated capability for market research and developing key industry relationships
?? Understanding of UK training and qualification market
?? Excellent oral and written communication skills
?? Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
?? Good administrative and organisational skills
?? Ability to think creatively to provide training solutions for industry
?? Experienced user of MS Project and MS Office toolset (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
?? Experience of working within the Companion Animal sector - desirable
Experience
?? Engaging with industry to develop business relationships
?? Experience of managing projects within a business environment
?? Understanding of the principles and frameworks of successful project management - desirable
