POSITION OVERVIEW Crucial to the success of the business, is the recruitment of a talented European Finance & Accounting Programme Manager. This position will take responsibility for supporting the operational finance team in implementing consistent processes, improvements in systems and activities to deliver efficient and speedy monthly reporting and timely fulfilment of statutory financial obligations. This will involve the need to ensure the adaptation of an NCH Lean Six Sigma framework to continuously improve performance and stakeholder satisfaction. This role will be based at our European Headquarters in Bilston, Wolverhampton. RESPONSIBILITIES *Implement a programme management structure to co-ordinate numerous improvement initiatives, identifying all key activities, resources and ownership to deliver the projects on time, in full and to budget. *Help develop a skills matrix for the varied roles within the Financial Accounting Team and support the management team to deliver relevant training programmes *Support the evolving organisation structure to ensure clear ownership over core financial processes. *Challenge current activities and assumptions of initiatives to help optimise digital, innovative and cost-effective solutions for streamlining processes to enhance competitiveness and improving customer service offerings. *Prioritisation of process improvements. *Interact collaboratively across functions including country management teams, HR, IT and the Finance department in Europe and at Group. *Travel to affiliates to capture business issues from local management and incorporate appropriate understand business issues. *Create a culture of continuous improvement. APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS KNOWLEDGE *Provide motivational leadership in change programmes with demonstrable experience in business transformation and solutions. *Highly skilled in change management, transition and implementation of new procedures and processes including technology changes. *Previous people management experience. *Previous risk management experience, with the ability to operate within internal controls and compliance framework. *Ability to develop applications of embedded analytics; prescriptive and predictive analytics in finance & accounting. *Ability to create, maintain and follow standardized processes and policies. *Prior experience of working in a sales and manufacturing environment. *Can demonstrate clear experience in defining, analysing and provision of Robotics consultation across projects. *At least Six Sigma 'Green Belt' certified and has led Lean, Six Sigma initiatives and continuous improvement activities. *Strong systems skills in Excel and ERP solutions.
