Your new company

Hays Education are looking for an experienced school office manager to work in a primary school based in Nuneaton. We are calling out to candidates who have high levels of initiative and are motivated to work in a busy school environment.

Your new role

The Office Manager will be responsible for the smooth running of the school office by organising, managing and supervising financial and administrative systems within the office. You will also act as PA to the Head teacher and business manager, taking on ad hoc tasks/projects/day to day administration as required i.e. organising monthly management meetings, taking minutes, maintaining notice boards

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful the school is looking for the candidate to be able to modernise current administration practices by being pro-active, showing initiative to identify areas for improvement and creating solutions. DBS checks and safeguarding are essential to work in any of our Hays Education Support. Prior use or knowledge of common bespoke school systems such as SIMS, CMIS, and Integris to input and update student and staff data is desirable. Strong communication, IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft packages are essential.
