My client is a progressive Financial Planning & Wealth Management firm with offices across the Midlands. They are now seeking a financial services administrator with some prior experience to come in and assist the advisers with client servicing tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone who is keen to sit their exams and progress into paraplanning and then becoming an adviser themselves.

New Client input into Client Database

  • Creating New client packs
  • Check Fact Find fully completed
  • Input Fact Find details into Client Database
  • Prepare & send off authority letters and send to client for signature
  • Input policy details of existing plans once received from providers

Client documentation and diary entries

  • Scan all documents/emails provided by Planner into Client Database
  • Add Activity entries/work flows


  • Check all Anti Money Laundering information is current and relevant checks have taken place
  • Check Fact Find/Client Agreement/Letter Of Engagement is signed and dated

Planner/Client/Provider Requests

  • Obtain illustrations, application forms, Key Feature Documents and other relevant supporting documentation

New Business Submission

  • Submit new business to provider or submit applications online
  • Enter details of case into Client Database
  • Track new business and current position, updating Planner/Para planner accordingly
  • Ensure all new business has been checked and been signed off (if required)
  • Ensure that submission has been double checked by another team member

Client Servicing

  • Ad hoc valuations
  • Trades - placing, chasing and updating
  • Change of address
  • Maintaining scanning records
  • Preparing review pack

Prepare for Client Review

  • Send Letter, valuation and relevant documentation to client
  • Ensure Financial Planning figures are sent to clients for update and revision in preparation for next meeting
  • Update cashflow models in preparation for review meetings
