Economics and Business Teacher (with the responsibility of the Economics department)
Salary M1:UPS3 (plus TLR 2A for the right candidate capable of taking responsibility for the Economics department)
We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-qualified teacher to build on the successful departments of Business and Economics at Rugby High School. The school offers Business at GCSE level in Years 10 and 11 as well as A-Level in the Sixth form. Economics is offered in the Sixth Form at A-level. Results are excellent for both departments and this is reflected in the number of students who have continued to further their study of Business and Economics at university.
The department runs a successful Young Enterprise scheme with other local providers and offers a number of trips and opportunities to hear from guest speakers.

Rugby High School is an 11-18 girls' grammar school. Twice judged outstanding by Ofsted, the school has a large Sixth Form. 50% of students accept places at Russell Group universities each year.
