Wage: GBP140.00 per week

Start date: ASAP

Working Hours: 35 hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm

Time spent in training: You are required to spend a minimum of 7 hours per week in training that supports your Apprenticeship course

About the role:

My client is a growing financial and property business providing a variety of services, including accountancy, rented office space and consultancy services. They are looking for a career-focussed Business Admin Apprentice to support the purchase and rent process for their commercial arm.

Job duties and responsibilities:

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to work as an apprentice and train in business administration, providing admin assistance to an accountancy office. Duties will include, but are not limited to:-

  • Book-keeping
  • General administration - filing, faxing, photocopying
  • Meeting and greeting clients
  • Assisting in meetings and sometimes minute taking
  • Taking inbound calls
  • Making outbound calls, where necessary
  • Providing admin feedback to line manager
  • Some PA responsibility to the Managing Director

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Effective communication
  • Good computing skills and a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
  • Hard-working, with a willingness to learn
