Position: BIM Coordinator
Location: Sheldon, Birmingham B26
Job type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

About the role:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a MEP BIM Coordinator to join our client's growing team in Birmingham. You will work with some exciting and long term projects in the region.

Working with the latest technology they offer customers the ability for all stakeholders to collaborate with clear, easy to understand, visual representations of their project. This allows customers to immediately assess potential changes in layout and configuration, thus providing a dynamic response which ensures they are fully informed and in control of their project at all times.

Responsibilities:

- The successful candidate will have a good understanding of all MEP systems, how they are installed, commissioned and maintained to ensure optimised coordinated solutions and enabling CDM compliance
- Work from engineers / designers’ calculations, rough sketches or drawings to produce accurate and structured drawings
- Be proficient in the use of various industry standard modelling platforms
- Maintain highest levels of commercial confidentiality in all aspects of employment
- Have a good understanding of general office software platforms
- Stay up to date with technology and have a good understanding of how it is being used throughout the industry
- Be able to conduct regular coordination review meetings
- Incorporate NGB Offsite and IT Services into working coordinated solutions

About you:

- Appropriate experience and knowledge with respect to service support systems
- Have an excellent knowledge of CDM regulations
- Have excellent communication between the department and the wider construction team

You may have experience of the following: BIM Coordinator, BIM Manager, Building Services, Building Information Modelling, Engineering, Building Design, BIM Supervisor, MAP, MEP Systems, CDM etc.
