Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant's wanted!
Teaching Personnel is working with a Special Needs (SEN) school in Leamington, that caters for pupils aged 11-16 with a variety of learning difficulties, including; Autism, MLD & SLD.
The school are currently looking for Teaching Assistants to work on a day to day, and long term basis within their KS3 & KS4 unit, working in a variety of classes. The class sizes are around 6-10, and you will be working alongside other SEN specialists, including another member of support staff and qualified teacher.
The successful candidates will have experience either within SEN or in mainstream schools, working with KS3/4. The ideal candidate will have experience with Autism, MLD & would also have experience with personal care.
Qualifications aren't essential but a Teaching Assistant qualification or degree is desirable. Experience within a support setting would be transferable.
Any CPD training such as Team-Teach or Autism Awareness would be desirable, and is also provided by Teaching Personnel.
