The Manufacturing Technology Centre is a UK success story - created to provide manufacturing systems solutions in an agile environment in partnership with industry, academia and other institutions. Working in partnership with Consilium Recruit they are seeking a Learner Development Coach. The purpose of the role is to provide support in all aspects of the development of learners on the apprenticeship programme and ensure records for welfare and progress will be internally and externally quality compliant.

The Role

- As the Development Coach you will monitor instructor completion of weekly reviews
- You will gather information from instructors to inform welfare, behaviour, attendance, timekeeping and progress against starting points to prepare electronic review documentation
- You will organise tripartite meetings between learners, employers and the Welfare and Progress Coordinator to carry out formal reviews
- You will carry out reviews to incorporate progress and behaviour including the measurement of distance travelled which will leave the apprentice with individual SMART targets to meet prior to their next review
- You will support STEM events, internal and external as well as assisting with recruitment activity and programme promotion.
- You will also act as a deputy designated safeguarding officer and learner support.

The Person

As the ideal candidate for the Development Coach position you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels, both verbal and written along with a proactive and flexible approach to work with the ability to take responsibility of achievement of tasks.

You will also have a clear DBS check in the past three years
