At PDSA we are currently looking for a Organisational Development Manager to join our team in Telford. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a highly competitive salary of GBP44,074 - GBP48,749 per annum.

As the UKs leading Veterinary charity we are looking to appoint an Organisational Development Manager (L&D) based out of our Telford office.

This is an exciting broad and varied role where you can really make a difference. You will be responsible for PDSA's Organisational Development agenda to enable the right culture and skills to deliver our organisational business plan.

About PDSA:

As the UK's leading veterinary charity, with 48 Pet Hospitals, we strive to improve pets' lives - through prevention, education and treatment. Every year our dedicated vet teams carry out 2.7 million treatments on 470,000 pets. Our national network of around 120 high street shops help us to provide these treatments through selling both donated and new goods.

About the Organisational Development Manager role:

As a key member of our Human Resource and Development team, you will take a lead on defining the O&D agenda including:

- Lead the team to deliver on our Talent strategy which includes attraction of critical roles through methods such as apprenticeships, career pathways for existing colleagues and development opportunities for people to be great at what they do

- Design and development of learning interventions that support the organisation to develop skills, behaviours and culture, including our in house leadership programme

- Implement best practice and innovative ideas to continue our learning culture

- Business partner across the organisation to offer bespoke coaching and learning intervention to meet identified needs.

About you:

- Experience of managing banking & payment operations and managing cashflow in a large, complex organisation

- Background in leading teams processing financial transactions and providing high service levels

- A good understanding of bookkeeping, practical VAT and internal controls

- Strong Excel skills and IT literacy, confident with technology

- Recognised accountancy qualification and knowledge of Gift Aid regulations (Desirable)
