Position: Collections Advisor
Location: Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent (Commutable from Leek, Congleton, Crewe, Uttoxeter & surrounding areas)
Job type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday
Salary: £17,000 per annum

About the role:
You’ll proactively contact our customers regarding the outstanding balances on their account, occasionally negotiating payment plans to help the customer avoid escalating debt.
You’ll provide excellent service to our customers through inbound and outbound calling, supported through letter and email communications. Building great relationships will be essential to come to the best solution for both Water Plus and the customer.
You’ll work to keep our promises to our customers by helping to find an answer to their queries and making sure they’re kept up to date with changes to the payment status of their accounts.

New to the Water Retail market? We provide training on the customer life cycle to let you confidently communicate our services, policies and the technical details to our customers.
We’re looking for people to join our team who have a proven track record in delivering amazing customer service. You’ll preferably have one year’s experience in a customer service role, whether in a call centre environment or perhaps in another service sector such as retail or hospitality.

- Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel & Word.
- Ideally have Level 2 equivalent qualifications in Maths and English, or be willing to work towards.
- Satisfactory completion of a basic DBS check.
