Due to growth and expansion, I am actively recruiting for a community support manager to oversee a cluster of supported living settings in Shrewsbury.

You will become a key member of a recognised charity provider who have a great reputation for the delivery of person centred care and support and the promotion of choice and independence.

Employed on a full time basis, you will be required to work a varied shift pattern to include some hands on care as well as office responsibilities. You will be responsible for a multi-disciplinary team and assume first line-management for supported living services.

Quality and compliance, care and support planning, rota management and HR responsibilities all form part of the community support manager role.

This is the perfect opportunity for a skilled deputy, team leader or service manager who is seeking the next step on the career ladder with a recognised provider.

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you demonstrate a proven background supporting adults with a learning disability diagnosis, have supervisory experience and hold the QCF 3 qualification in health and social care as a minimum. Ideally you will be working towards or be already hold the QCF 5.

Due to the nature of this role, a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential, as is flexibility to share the "on call" rota.

In return for your extensive knowledge, skills and experience, you will receive a salary up to GBP25000, generous annual leave allowance, as well as other exciting development opportunities.
