My client is currently recruiting for a Transport administrator to work on their busy PM shift, this role will suit someone who likes working in a fast past environment and likes a varied role. This will initially be a temporary position with a view to go permanent after successful completion of 12 weeks emploment.

Duties
  • Answering telephones, dealing with customers, drivers requests & queries
  • Allocating drivers runs for the day.
  • Limited knowledge of transport planning
  • Cases & Pending's for main contract customer
  • Working on multiple IT systems to ensure business needs are met
  • Transferring of stock on bespoke system
  • Booking in material
  • Raising identifiers
  • Booking out material
  • Printing off delivery paperwork
  • Responsible for invoicing
  • Combining invoices and delivery notes on Adobe Pro
  • Responsible for getting goods customs cleared
  • Responsible for booking delivery of goods
  • Responsible for sending delivery paperwork to customers
  • Dealing with customers by telephone and email
  • Training of new staff
  • Filing, photocopying and scanning
  • Attend meetings

Hours of work 2pm-8pm 30hrs per week
