Our client is currently seeking an AV / IT Project Manager for a 6 month contract, possibly to be expended or to become permanent.

You will be responsible for the Project Management duties and deliverables relating to nominated key projects aligned with the company's Sales & Operational requirements. Managing projects and stakeholders to ensure that scope, installation, budget and program is delivered to professional standards, to fulfil the company and client expectations, requiring:

Proactive communication and management of the client relationship alongside the key sales lead
Structured Project Management evidenced and communicated to all stakeholders
Evaluation and management of risk & mitigation relative to project scope and delivery
Clear communication and reporting to the Senior Management team

Your Principal Tasks/Accountabilities

1. Manage the key deliverable projects, across a multi-site location program mainly Midlands area and the UK
2. Manage the proposed software implementation program D-Tools, between vendor and company
3. Manage nominated project financials and forecasts, advising on any variances to budget and resolution strategies
4. Adhere to project engineering operating procedures and quality standards, ensuring consistency of work at all times, providing onsite support and inspections within the UK
5. Produce technical project documentation to assist engineers on site and ensure consistency of installation quality and commissioning performance
6. Manage Health & Safety regulations, site RAMS and other contractual requirements relating to the installation program and required documentation, including liaising and supporting the company handover and training processes
7. Supporting Operations in communication with and management of, suppliers and partner organisations to ensure product and supply deliverables are aligned with the agreed project program

Technical / Personal Specification

1. Have formal training and accreditation in Project Management, preferably with complimentary Electronics, Computer/Networking or Audio-Visual technical qualifications, alongside significant previous installation or service experience in the Audio Visual industry
2. Have the passion and attention to detail to deliver high quality AV installations in association with the companies Installation and Technical Engineering teams. Capability to utilise associated design & Project Management tools with the ability to understand and produce schematics, schedules and project programs
3. Significant experience in delivering high value/volume technology projects in either the public or private sector
4. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Able to deal effectively with people at all levels and to explain technical issues and manage resolution with the company, clients and associated stakeholders in the project
5. Able to work independently and make management decisions within the scope of policies, procedures and budgets of the company, always ensuring reasonable best practice alongside Health & Safety requirements
6. Required to pass a baseline CRB check, and willing to be Security Cleared as required in order to support client contracts
7. Full UK driving license with the ability to travel UK wide and work remotely, and able to carry out other duties as reasonably requested by the Managing Director
