Our Client was founded in 1990 with more than £5 billion in assets under management, currently has around 250 independent financial advisers who provide financial planning-led wealth management advice. They are currently looking for an L & D Specialist Trainer to design and deliver a range of blended learning solutions that support the company in growing the capabilities of our people and regulated IFA community, to deliver our strategic business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop the skills and competencies of our staff and IFA communities, providing specific support for the regulated sales process and T&C regime
  • Design, develop and deliver a range of blended learning solutions that address the learning and development needs of our staff and IFA communities
  • Adopt new techniques including authoring software, to create exciting and engaging learning modules and materials to populate our LMS, building its knowledge Bank and making it the 'go to place’ for self-development
  • Provide coaching and mentoring sessions for staff in support of all learning and development programmes
  • Identify and address specific training needs in relation to our regulated staff, specifically Mortgage and Protection Advisers, Protection Advisers and our IFA community
  • Consult with the T&C community and Project Teams as required in relation to Learning and Development solutions.
  • Contribute ideas and recommendations to the Head of Learning and Development in relation to developments within the financial services sector
  • Act as a backup for Learning and Development Trainer
  • Ensure the security of data
  • Any other reasonable request made by the Learning and Development Department or other members of the Senior Management Team
REQUIREMENTS

Requirements

  • A confident, communicative Learning and Development professional
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Good IT skills
  • Ability to work independently and on own initiative, and as part of a team
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Planning and time management skills
  • Experience of working within a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work with a broad range of people adapting to different styles and different needs
  • Financial Services Diploma essential/ Financial Services Chartered desired
  • TAP or equivalent L&D qualification essential
