Business Development Manager – Waste Industry

We have an exciting opportunity to join a company that are experiencing rapid growth, who can provide you with a long and progressive sales career.

This is an office-based role but does require going out to client appointments across the UK.

We are looking for a motivated, charismatic, experienced sales person that will invest in our clients, as much as they invest in you.

This is ideal for an individual who would like to develop their sales career and build and grow a new area in a well-established company.

You will be self-motivated to make introductory phone calls to prospective clients, identifying needs, qualifying initial interest and booking appointments.

You will be confident working from your own catered sales script, take pride in the delivery of your pitch, and have the tenacity to reach decision makers.

The role
  • Review and distribute sales related documents
  • Create new sales opportunities
  • Examine client accounts
  • Keep track of sales targets
  • Acquiring new business by calling prospects and referrals
The candidate
  • At least 2 years’ experience in B2B sales & account management
  • Target driven, self-motivated and tenacious
  • Excellent communication to both internal and external clients and colleagues
