Business Development Manager
I am proud to announce that due to expansion of the business, Reedmace Solutions are exclusively representing a highly successful, independent provider of business training and consultancy. We are looking for a Business Development Manager to sell consultancy services to business owners with annual turnover of circa £2m.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a company which really helps small businesses to grow. You will be dealing with a wide range of companies and talking to the owners regularly in order to build relationships and provide them with consultancy services.
This role will suit a salesperson who wants a mix of office based work (building relationships with customers over the phone) and face to face sales (Selling to clients at events).
The Business Development Manager will have access to an established database of business owners, taking full responsibility for a base of accounts and nurturing leads through the sales process. Prospects are invited to attend paid workshops during which there is opportunity to sell further services face to face.
Average deal size £200 - £36,000. Monthly target £50k.
- Proven consultative (non pushy) B2B sales person who has achieved / exceeded sales targets
- Happy to sell from an office base in Leamington Spa and attend events in Warwickshire
- Strong questioning and listening skills
- A mix of Account Management and New Business skills
- Career minded and able to grow the business
- Proponent of social selling as well as traditional phone and face to face techniques
We are looking to hire as soon as possible. Ideally this month (Feb 2019). Candidates who prove that they can use their sales and social-selling skills will be considered with top priority. Thereafter, CV’s and cover letters will be screened and the best will be invited to interview.
The right person will be offered the right salary, plus commission for personal sales. As a guide we will accept basic salary applications from £20k - £30k.
