Working with the Human Resources Director to ensure training and development needs of the business and the employees within it are met.

  • Management of training calendar and coordination of trainers.

  • Maximising training grant support received from the Industry Training Board (CITB).

  • Coordination and management of CSCS / CPCS carding schemes

  • Coordination of hotel bookings, taxis and lunch provision

  • Management of 2 training facilities ; Tamworth, Daresbury

  • Monthly reporting of Key Performance Indicators

  • Liaising with HOD on training requests

  • Overseeing of Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure records are kept up to date

  • Management of third party partners such as CITB, NHBC, British Red Cross

  • Ensure the department complies with responsibilities as laid down in the Group’s health and safety policy in order to ensure a safe environment within the department.

  • Ambassador for the delivery and communication of training across the business.

  • Management of a robust evaluation system incorporating individual feedback and follow-up training where appropriate.

  • Ongoing re-evaluation of training provision to ensure best practice and best value.

  • Monthly ongoing informal and formal reporting to the Human Resources Director on all aspects of training and development delivery and activities.

  • Provision of detailed management information for the Board and Divisional business.

  • At all times ensure the department complies with any other relevant company policies, procedures and instructions.

  • Line management responsibility for several reports

  • Ensure familiarity with Redrow Group’s Health, Safety and Environmental policies and comply with employee responsibilities.

  • At all times comply with company policies, procedures and instructions.

  • Implement new ideas and methods and continue to seek ways of both improving contribution to the organisation’s goals and enhancing the reputation of the company.
