about the role

Our client, a leading professional services firm based in the city centre, are now looking for a Corporate Communication & PR Manager to support the Head of Comms and manage a small but very effective team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and management of the Group's external communications strategy and managing media and stakeholder relationships. You'll maintain and enhance the group's reputation, developing external comms plans, and working with a wider marketing team to create a truly 'joined-up, one team' approach to corporate communications. You'll develop a media relations strategy across print, broadcast and online media groups, creating press releases, articles and thought leadership reports, overseeing and creating social media content and editing articles. You'll additionally support the Head of Corporate Comms with crisis management support.

Who we're looking for

We're looking for candidates with either an agency or in-house background ideally from a corporate or professional services sector. You'll be able to demonstrate some man-management experience, but more importantly a varied and innovative approach to communications both traditional and digital. You'll be keen to work with an organisation which is growing and developing across a variety of sectors, developing communications which are relevant to all.

Ideally you'll hold or be working towards CIPR qualifications
