Trading Manager - Online/Ecommerce

We are looking for an experienced Trading Manager - Online/Ecommerce, to lead our clients ecommerce team, focussed on delivering sales and margin targets, as well as managing a team of 4.
This is a chance for a successful Trading Manager - Online/Ecommerce, to join a leading online company that is going through continued growth and profitability.
As the Trading Manager - Online/Ecommerce, you will be responsible for the strategic direction for trading as well as having a clear eye on the daily, weekly trading of the websites.
We would like someone with a good knowledge of ecommerce platforms, such as Demandware, but this is not essential.
The Trading Manager - Online/Ecommerce, will have good analytical skills and a working knowledge of Google Analytics and Excel
You will be well organised and be able to demonstrate your experience from previous roles.
Able to look at ways for continuous improvement – regularly challenge the norm and keep up to date on the latest developments within E-commerce to create a high performing function.

  • Passionate about E-Commerce and business
  • Proven team management skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of the Demandware E-commerce platform is an advantage but not essential
  • Excellent working knowledge of Google Analytics and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate with both internal and external stakeholders
  • A minimum of 4 years in retail E-commerce, including responsibility and success in achieving sales targets, conversion metrics and budgets
  • Customer centric with a deep understanding of consumer behaviour
  • Be an approachable individual with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Driven and thrives on success. Hungry for results and information
  • Previous experience in managing and motivating a team to produce successful outcomes
  • Able to prioritise regularly and efficiently
  • Organised with good time management skills
  • Ability to adapt in a fast paced environment
  • A ‘can do’ attitude
  • Problem solving skills
