SALARY: cGBP22,019.00 - GBP28,302.00 (based on qualifications and experience) includes cGBP2000.00 sleep in bonus! GBP31.50 per sleep in!

You will work as part of a friendly and skilled team within a therapeutic, safe and nurturing environment for up to three children, enabling them to develop and grow to achieve more positive outcomes for their futures. This is a challenging role, yet rewarding - you will have an understanding and experience of challenging behaviours and / or mental health conditions. You will work collaboratively with your residential childcare team and other renowned professionals, including leading clinical/therapeutic specialists.
Key Skills and Qualifications???
  • Liaise with management team to ensure the children's home is high quality and meets the social, physical and emotional needs of the children on an individualised basis
  • Exceed expectations and empower children and your team
  • Resilient, creative, positive, 'can do' attitude - you will be happy to undertake a wide variety of indoor & outdoor activities including sports such as; mountain biking, camping, water sports, gym, football, Play Station, music & many others!
  • Act as a role model and uphold clear and consistent boundaries. De escalate, control and manage behaviours that can become challenging.
  • Hold Level 3 CYP or equivalent and shift leading experience in a children's home!
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Hold a full UK driving license
This role is based in a lovely setting in the Cannock area and staff work 1 day on / 2 days off - GREAT SHIFT PATTERN!!!
The home can be easily reached from Lichfield, Brownhills, Burtwood, Stafford, Tamworth, Sutton Coldfield, Wolverhampton & Walsall-staff travel further for this shift pattern too!
