A fast-growing IT company based in Birmingham are looking for an IT Apprentice. You will be joining a dynamic team dedicated to providing the best service to our customers. Your day to day duties include:

Working on the help-desk, offering application and hardware support to customers via telephone and email.Logging all tickets on the help desk system.
  • Daily and monthly routine tasks such as backup checks, server monitoring alerts, network monitoring alerts, Windows updates and anti-virus.
  • Assisting with network infrastructure.PC and laptop imaging and fault finding.Handling inbound calls from clients experiencing technical issues.Resolving basic “reset” issues or escalate issue to relevant department.Working with Microsoft Exchange, Office 365 and assisting with IT security.Where applicable: basic onsite support, assisting senior engineers for site visits, device deliveries.

    The advanced apprenticeship – Infrastructure Technician includes 4 internationally recognised Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) qualifications and the City and Guilds Award in Business Process

    MTA Network FundamentalsMTA Mobility and Device FundamentalsMTA Server AdminMTA Software DevelopmentCity and Guilds Level 3 Award in Business ProcessesYou will be working towards the Level 3 Infrastructure Technician apprenticeship standard. Functional Skills up to Level 2 in maths or English can be provided where required.
