Support Worker - part-time - Evesham, Worcestershire

We have vacancies for part-time Support Workers at our Evesham services. There is some flexibility with the contracted hours as we are looking for between 20 and 30 hours per week. Let us know on your application what works for you.
About the role
You will be working across two different services in Evesham supporting people aged between 23 - 53.
The first is alarge house which is a registered care service and home to five people who have profound and multiple learning disabilities and complex healthcare needs.
You will join in with people's favourite pastimes and hobbies, helping them get out and about in their local community.The service is a large detached house with a lovely enclosed garden in which the people we support like to spend time when the weather is fine. There is moving and handling for wheelchair users, and personal care involved. You'll be supporting with such activities as music, lunches, walks, sensory equipment, and hydrotherapy.
The other location is an Outreach service in which we support two very able young men with a learning disability to live in their first home. They are active men with a wide range of interests including bowling, cinema, day trips, places of interest, cooking and many more. They attend Evesham college and need support to get there.
You'll take your turn working shifts on a rota, including days, evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins (1 or 2 per week). The shifts are 7:00 to 15:30 and 15:30 to 22:00.

What we need from you
Experience is not necessary, as we provide a full induction and free training programme. People join us from many different backgrounds; What's important is that you share our values, have a positive approach and are willing to learn.
It is desirable for these positions that you hold a full manual driving licence which allows you to drive in the UK, so you can drive service vehicles; But this is not essential.
