Responsible for co-ordinating all video, audio and animation production across the Digital Learning & Design function. Working alongside the Digital Learning Design Leads, Videographer, Team Planner, and Learning Design Co-ordinator you'll be responsible for making sure everything runs smoothly during the various stages of production, this includes coordinating schedules, location scouting, providing casting, crew and facilities information. An experienced co-ordinator and communicator, familiar with the development of media who can organise tasks, people and multiple projects.

What you need to do
  • Co-ordinate the development of different media production activities
  • Plan all media production workload, time and commitments over a 12-month period
  • Participate in peer review and group content development discussions
  • Co-ordinate with different teams across the business to ensure successful project delivery
  • Attend all production meetings - confidently pose, challenge and answer questions, work proactively and make suggestions during scoping and pre-production meetings to aid project decisions
  • Complete all production administrative duties - Collate, type, edit, copy and distribute, scripts, storyboards, set plans, call sheets
  • Organise script read throughs with internal and external talent and stakeholders
  • Organise all logistical arrangements, including film venue booking, travel for cast and production crew
  • Work with Videographer, SME's and stakeholders to source suitable filming locations/sets
  • Collate, copy and store all talent waivers/disclaimers and update the talent log
  • Support the development and training of different members of the wider L&D /HR teams
  • Effectively schedule team resources, identifying and resolving any gaps in productivity with the Digital Learning Design Leads & Learning Design Planner

What you need to know
  • Experience of end to end multi-media production processes
  • Familiar with production tools and materials such as scripts, call sheets, set plans, storyboards
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office software
  • Experience of using planning software such as Microsoft Project
  • Knowledge of media production planning

  • Strong analytical skills required to assimilate new information quickly and turn this into engaging learning
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build and maintain great working relationships with colleagues, SMEs and Learning Consultants
  • Ability to work well under pressure: effectively handle tight deadlines, unexpected delays, revisions, ad hoc requests and changing priorities
  • Ability to recognise common production language and apply to each project
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time, prioritising tasks in co-operation with the Digital Learning Planner and Learning Design Co-ordinator to clearly communicate activities and deliverables with the Digital Learning & Design Lead, peers, SMEs and Learning Consultants
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Have a clear sense of ownership with an ability to follow through and resolve issues - making sound decisions with minimal supervision or direction
  • Role module continuing professional development - inviting and acting on feedback

What decisions I can make including budget
  • Resource allocation taking guidance from Digital Learning & Design Leads
  • Resource availability taking guidance from Learning & Design Planner
  • Access (when agreed by project) to a Digital Learning and Design budget (GBP to be approved by Digital Learning & Design Lead)
  • When to escalate non-compliance of any internal / external production processes
