Design Admin Assistant - Girlswear
Open a closet full of opportunity here at TU! This is an admin role, but there's so much more to it and so many chances to learn about how a clothing brand works, and how the designs that you assist with get onto our shelves and out to our customers.
We know you keep up with the latest trends, read all the blogs and know what's on the catwalks. But still, you might be surprised by just how big Sainsbury's is in the fashion market. We've got big plans for babywear too. Our clothing brand TU is often featured in popular magazines, and our premium collection will make a big splash. What's more, our designers get to see their designs in store unusually quickly. So it's always time for a new project. All of which makes Sainsbury's an exciting and rewarding place in which to grow.
So what might your career path look like from here? Thanks to the training and development we provide, you can aspire to move into an Assistant Designer role eventually. In time, you could take on responsibilities that involve travel. Ultimately, if you've got what it takes, you could become a fully-fledged Designer. But to get there, you'll need to put the work in.
To join us, you'll probably be a design graduate (or equivalent) with some design work experience within a retailer or fashion house. You've got a passion for fashion, a good eye for the product, and the drive to assist us in getting the best into stores. We also expect you to be organised and self-motivated, and comfortable using programs like Illustrator and Photoshop.
