Your new role
The school are recruiting for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, who has experience in working with SEN children. The role involves you working with a child in reception, ensuring that they can receive help during their lessons to maximise their learning. The role also involves you to work across a variety of subjects, implementing skills to tackle any challenges throughout the day.
What you'll need to be successful
You will need to be level 3 qualified in supporting teaching and learning or equivalent. You will need to provide references of similar work alongside SEN children. You will also need to be a patient and empathetic individual, who can deal with some elements of challenging behaviour.
