Our client is an organisation representing their members all over Great-Britain. They focus on supporting the public and influencing to achieve the best possible results in their sector. They are now looking for Telephone Researchers to join their team and offer support to the Research Manager by undertaking telephone research on designated assignments.

Main responsibilities:

  • To undertake telephone research and data collection projects as designated by the Research Manager
  • To accurately record outcomes on the research and / or CRM systems
  • To carry out calls with courtesy, professionalism and enthusiasm; observing the organisation's customer service quality controls and procedures
  • To work within a team supporting colleagues as required
  • To be aware of and adhere to Data Protection Act regulations
  • To meet agreed targets and deadlines, reporting on progress to Research Coordinator / Research Manager as required
  • Key skills and experience:

  • Previous experience of phone-based customer service is beneficial
  • Highly customer service focused and passionate about quality of service
  • Excellent telephone manner and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and listening skills
  • Confident user of IT including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to discuss and explain information clearly to a variety of customers
  • Comfortable following a carefully worded script
  • Additional Information:

  • Hours: 9am to 5pm - Monday to Friday (35 hours/week)
  • Due to the company's location it is essential to have a driver's licence and access to a car.
