Residential Support Worker
We are looking for a Residential Support Worker to join a new organisation providing specialist to children with EBD. This will be the first of 5 specialist services to open and is located in Kenilworth. This 5-bed home has been furnished to the highest specification. The RSW post is a full-time permanent post for 37.5 hours per week. The shift pattern includes 7am to 2.30pm, 2pm to 9.30pm and sleep in's (10pm to 6.30am)
The RSW role is to provide and maintain the highest level of care and support to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, social and cultural needs of the children and young people residing at the service. The model for service delivery within the home and the organisation as a whole is based around the principals of "Social Pedagogic Approaches"
All applicants must possess the following:
- QCF level 3 in Children & Young People (desirable but not essential)
- A minimum of 12 months experience working within a residential setting for children with EBD (desirable but not essential)
- An understanding of OFSTED regulations (desirable but not essential)
