Graduate Software/Application Support Analyst
This technically orientated and creative business are leaders in their specific industry sector, and are working on a range of projects including most of the major transport, regeneration and infrastructure schemes in the UK.
They are looking for a graduate with a Computing / IT related degree to join their team as a Software/Application Support Analyst.
You have direct responsibility for delivering projects on time to the desired specification, working closely with the Technical and Business Directors, in an environment which supports innovation and skill development.
Some of the things you will be involved with include:
· Testing of new software in a controlled real environment before deployment for use by project teams
· Resolving problems encountered with software installation and other computer systems
· Generation of specification and design documentation
· Maintaining and supporting bespoke and specialist software.
Some knowledge of SQL, Java, Trading, ITIL and C++ would be ideal, but don’t worry if you are not familiar with all of these as some training is provided. You can develop your knowledge in the specialist software- and will even get the opportunity to help train non-technical staff in its use.
Based in Telford, and commutable from Wolverhampton, Shrewsbury, Stafford and surrounding areas.
