IT Support Analyst - GBP19.000 to GBP22.000 + Oncall + Overtime

I am currently recruiting for an IT Support Analyst (1st Line Support) for a leading online retailer based in Hereford.

This is a customer service focused IT service desk analyst tasked to provide high quality support for their clientele and 3rd parties.

Main Duties for this position include;

* Answering helpdesk support calls and providing 1st line support. This will include an out of hours support service (on call rota).
* Liaise with internal users and customers/3rd parties when required to resolve problems and queries.
* Manage incoming support requests, engage with internal support teams to ensure that the service delivered is within the agreed levels of service.

The Ideal Candidate will possess some of the following;

* Previous experience in a helpdesk role
* Some experience of application and database support
* A basic understanding of network technologies

* Previous experience in a helpdesk role
* Some experience of application and database support
* Basic understanding of network technologies (LAN, WAN, SAN) and related services (firewall, anti-virus)

Essential skills for the role.

* Have a working knowledge and understanding use of Windows 7, Office 2010, Server 2003, 2008 and 2012, Active Directory, Exchange
* PC hardware and software maintenance and upgrades
