Business Development Executive – Permanent – Warwick - £23,000 to £28,000 + Benefits

Our client is a growing, award-winning data focused Consultancy who operate on a global scale with offices across Europe and the US. Across this emerging market, the company delivers high quality data solutions for clients in the retail, hospitality and manufacturing sectors.

Offering a flexible work/life balance with a progressive company culture, they are looking to bring on board a Business Development Executive to assist with the initiation of sales. You’ll sit under the new Head of Business Development and be a part of a team that is looking to grow and that could provide opportunity moving forward.

The Position

New business is critical for any growing organization Business Development team by proactively reaching out to target organizations to connect with relevant stakeholders and make them aware of their data focused services.

Working with social media channels as well as phone and email you’ll be handling inbound enquiries from prospective new clients, finding out more about their data management requirements and identifying opportunities to offer their services.

Required Skills/Qualifications

* You’ll be a persistent, determined and goal-oriented person who has excellent written and spoken communication skills and a confident telephone manner.

* You’ll have experience working in a technology sales or telephone-oriented sales role.

* You need to be outgoing and confident to speak to and connect with many different people on a daily basis. You’ll be able to ask open questions to gain an understanding of a client’s needs, and able to articulate (at high level) the organizations value proposition and how this can benefit the client

* You will have the ability to work with all levels of professionals within a business, including Board Executives, Directors, Business Managers, IT Managers and Solution Architects etc.

* Ability to multi-task and prioritise a high-volume workload as appropriate

* Ability to work independently and manage own time effectively without supervision

* A self-starter, proactive, resilient with a positive, “can do” and “roll-up-the-sleeves” mentality to get the job done

* Excellent administration and organisation skills with attention to detail

* Proficiency in MS Office especially Outlook, Excel and Word. High standard of spelling and grammar.
