Due to continued success and increased workload out client who is a market leader is looking for an experienced candidate to join their Customer Service team as a Customer Service Assistant. Our client has recently won a big new contract so they are looking for a proactive individual who is very process driven and an excellent communicator as you will be dealing with customers on a regular basis.
This is a great company to work for as they like to develop their employees offering training and career development and there is free parking for all employees. 25 days holiday plus Bank holidays. Hours are 8.30-5pm and a very competitive basic salary of between GBP20,000-24,000 depending on your skills and experience.

Key skills include:-
Main point of contact for customers by telephone and email
Handle, resolve and record all customer complaints
Register all new customers onto the system -SAP
Process orders from start to finish including arranging transport and credit control.
Creating reports so you need to have intermediate excel skills
Organise transport and ensure transactions are correctly priced.
Contact point for transporters and depots.
Regularly review prices for transport.
Register new transporters into the system.
Verify all transport tasks have been completed.

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate that they have worked in a fast paced, process driven environment and be able to be accountable for the full role from new customer set up through to processing orders, handling complaints, arranging transport, dealing with invoice queries and credit control. If you have experience working on SAP that will be a distinct advantage and you will need to be tested on your excel skills before we can submit your application. Candidates doing a similar role from a logistics/ transport background would have a distinct advantage
