Client Details

A growing public sector organisation looking to add a new Pensions Assistant to their finance team on a 12 month contract basis.


  • Deal with customers in a friendly and positive manner;

  • Provide a customer focused service by prioritising workload according to deadlines;

  • Adding new members to the pensions system;

  • process and validate all amendments to a member's record;

  • Responsible for calculating and providing the member with details of the option to increase the value of their own pension and survivors benefits;

  • Deal with a range of correspondence, telephone queries and personal visits from members;

  • Create the annual schedule requests to employers for bulk paperwork for: Average hours for casual employees, Missing joiners, leavers and nil contributions and updating information when received;


The ideal candidate will be immedialtey available. They will have:

  • Experience working in a Finance department or are a recent Finance Graduate
  • Good telephone manner
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience using work
  • Able to manage a high work volume
