Financial Risk and Regulatory Reporting Manager

Robert Half have partnered exclusively with a Financial Services business based in North Birmingham around the Dudley area. The stable business is looking for a Financial Risk and Regulatory Reporting Manager who will take responsibility for the accurate and timely submission of financial information to the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA), Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the Bank of England.

On a day to day basis the Financial Risk and Regulatory Reporting Manager will also support the Finance Director (FD) with credit risk analysis of the Society's loan portfolio, quarterly stress testing of the Society's capital position and completion of the Society's ICAAP, Recovery Plan and Pillar 3 Disclosures.

In addition, they will be responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the Treasury Back Office function.

Key accountabilities include:

- Responsible for Direct Reports development 121's, and annual appraisal;

- Ensuring a consistently high quality of work and analysis from the regulatory reporting team;

- Responsible for maintenance and development of the regulatory reporting process including data integrity within ALMIS

- Interpretation of the regulatory rules which forms the basis of reporting and providing regulatory guidance to the business.

- Responsible for timely production of mortgage book and capital stress testing

- Responsible for Treasury 'Back Office' including ensuring compliance with the treasury policy

- Driving through greater automation and efficiency of processes within your area of responsibility

- Responsible for the production and review, including submission of, Regulatory and Board/Committee reports

- Maintaining integrity of data within ALMIS (Regulatory Reporting)

- On-going consideration of departmental risks, controls and procedures

- Ad-hoc projects and tasks as required by the FD

- Maintaining procedures and controls for all areas within responsibility

Be fully aware of the implications of the regulatory requirements applicable to your role with regards to:

  • The Anti-Bribery and Corruption Act;
  • Money Laundering Act 2017;
  • Data Protection Act 2018; and
  • The Public Interest Disclosure Act 1998 (Whistleblowing).

Salary & Benefits
