Quality Engineer required for a market leading company who can offer an exciting opportunity to work in a role focused on New Product Development. You will work in a state of the art purpose built facility in a talented team.

The Quality Engineer role will suit candidate from any background who have experience working within a quality focused role. Ideally you will hold an Engineering qualification, although other backgrounds can be considered. You will work in with teams across the whole process including suppliers and will need to be confident communicating across a skilled multi disciplinary team. Due to the nature of the role, it would be extremely advantageous to have experience managing the quality process for new product design/implementation, however not essential.

The Quality Engineer role will involve integrating APQP phases and managing the quality standards of new products and the associated process to manufacture them. You will work with project managers, electrical, electronic, software and mechanical engineers to ensure that the new products can be manufactured to the required standard. You will develop appropriate inspection plans and use 8D, RCCM and DoE methods to continuously problem solve and make improvements accordingly. You will also be involved in on time delivery packages, develop performance metrics and generate critical component lists.

The Role:

* Integrating APQP phases with NPD process
* Managing and improving quality standards for both the process and product
* Working with internal engineering teams and suppliers to ensure new products can be manufactured to the required standards

The Candidate:

* Quality Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment, other backgrounds will be considered
* Ideally have experience with quality processes for NPD, however not essential
