Your new company
This company is currently looking to recruit for an additional Day Support Worker's to join their already well established team in the Worcestershire Borough. This organisation provide a service to adults with learning disabilities, Autism and Mental Health issues. Your new role
Your new role as a Day Support Worker will include working within a team of day staff to help support service users throughout the course of the day. This will start from supporting the residents in the morning get ready for their planned day, providing support within the residential home and while out in the community, all being done with promoting as much independence as possible. You will also be responsible for closely engaging with residents to ensure care plans and risk assessments tailored specifically to them are relevant and continuously developed to support their best interest at all times.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful Support Worker will have previous experience of working with adults with learning disabilities and mental health within a challenging environment but not necessarily within a residential setting, although residential experience would be ideal. You will have already completed a minimum of your NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care, and although not essential as training can be provided, mandatory training will be in date.
